This website is the home of Gail Denton, Natural Dye Fiber Artist, teacher, lecturer and consultant. Travel to Turkey and Central Asia with Gail. (See www.textiletrips.com.) This website offers information, support, teaching and workshop opportunities, studio rental space, lists of workshops taught at the studio by Gail Denton and by nationally known guest Fiber Artists. Classes lists those workshop sessions taught at the Natural Dye Studio by invited teachers and also by Gail Denton. Classes are also listed for teachers using the Studio to teach classes privately. Studio Rental offers information about the use of the studio by workshop leaders who wish to teach at the studio. Also, an invitation for individual fiber artists who need some studio time (but don't want to build a studio just yet) for specific projects. On The Road lists classes taught by Gail Denton at other venues throughout the country. It will also list classes of 'friends of the studio' who are teaching remotely, whose instructors are accepting enrollment openly. Links will connect you with websites of fiber artists and organizations of interest. Resources will connect you with websites and businesses which offer supplies and support to the efforts of fiber artists. Consulting services are also offered to the textile trade interested in understanding natural dyes, contracting for dyeing services for textile projects, and including natural dyes within their palette of design choices.
